Three Injured as Attacks Target Airports in Saudi Arabia’s Jazan, Najran

Saudi Arabia’s General Authority of Civil Aviation (GACA) said that King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz International Airport in Jazan and Najran International Airport were targeted in attacks on Monday evening.

According to the authority, emergency teams and relevant agencies responded to the incidents in accordance with established procedures and contingency plans.

The attacks left three people with minor injuries, while material damage was also reported. The injured were transported to hospital for medical treatment.

GACA said it is continuing to coordinate with the relevant security authorities to assess the damage and take all necessary measures to ensure the safety of passengers and employees and safeguard Saudi Arabia’s civil aviation system.
