DMCA & Copyright Policy

Version: 2.0
Effective Date: September 27, 2026
Last Updated: September 27, 2026

Company Information

ripr is owned and operated by Ravant Technologies FZCO, a company incorporated in Dubai, United Arab Emirates.

Registered Office: DSO-IFZA, IFZA Properties, Dubai Silicon Oasis, Dubai, United Arab Emirates
Trade License No.: 36692
Website: ripr.trade
Copyright Contact: support@ripr.trade

Throughout this Policy, "ripr," "we," "us," and "our" refer to Ravant Technologies FZCO and, where applicable, its affiliates.

1. Purpose

ripr respects the intellectual-property rights of others and expects users of the Services to do the same.

This DMCA & Copyright Policy explains:

  • how copyright owners may report allegedly infringing content;

  • how ripr processes copyright notices;

  • how affected users may submit counter-notifications;

  • how content may be restored following a valid counter-notification;

  • our approach to repeat copyright infringement;

  • and the limitations that apply to content or information recorded on public blockchains.

Where applicable, ripr processes copyright notices in accordance with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act of 1998 ("DMCA"), including 17 U.S.C. § 512.

This Policy supplements the ripr:

  • Terms of Use;

  • Content Moderation Policy;

  • Livestream Policy;

  • Trademark Guidelines;

  • and other applicable policies.

2. Scope

This Policy applies to material made available through Services controlled by ripr, including where applicable:

  • posts;

  • comments;

  • images;

  • artwork;

  • videos;

  • audio;

  • livestreams;

  • livestream recordings;

  • profile images;

  • token images;

  • token logos;

  • token metadata displayed through ripr;

  • project descriptions;

  • website content;

  • user-uploaded files;

  • links to allegedly infringing material;

  • and other User Content.

Copyright complaints involving trademarks, brand names, impersonation, or false affiliation may instead or additionally be governed by our Trademark Guidelines and Content Moderation Policy.

3. Copyright and Blockchain Technology

Some Digital Assets and related information may exist independently on a public blockchain.

A blockchain may permanently contain information such as:

  • token metadata;

  • transaction information;

  • smart-contract data;

  • decentralized storage references;

  • wallet addresses;

  • hashes;

  • or links to external content.

ripr generally does not control public blockchains and may therefore be unable to:

  • delete blockchain transactions;

  • erase immutable blockchain data;

  • modify a third-party smart contract;

  • remove an independently deployed token from a blockchain;

  • alter historical blockchain records;

  • or prevent access to material through third-party applications.

However, where appropriate, ripr may take action within systems that we control.

For example, we may:

  • remove an image from ripr-controlled storage;

  • disable access to content through the ripr interface;

  • terminate a livestream;

  • remove a livestream recording;

  • remove or alter metadata displayed by ripr;

  • remove content from search or discovery;

  • restrict an account;

  • disable links;

  • or otherwise stop displaying infringing material through Services under our control.

A copyright takedown directed to ripr therefore applies to content or access mechanisms reasonably within ripr's control and does not necessarily result in deletion of underlying blockchain data.

4. Copyright Infringement Notices

If you believe that material available on or through ripr infringes copyright that you own or are authorized to enforce, you may submit a written notification of claimed infringement.

Your notice should be sent to the copyright contact identified in Section 17 below.

To be effective under the DMCA, the notice must contain substantially all of the information described below.

5. Required Information for a DMCA Notice

5.1 Signature

Provide a physical or electronic signature of:

  • the copyright owner; or

  • a person authorized to act on behalf of the owner of the exclusive copyright right allegedly infringed.

An electronically typed full legal name may constitute an electronic signature where legally sufficient.

5.2 Identification of the Copyrighted Work

Identify the copyrighted work that you believe has been infringed.

Where multiple copyrighted works on ripr are covered by one notice, you may provide a representative list of those works where permitted by law.

Please provide enough information for us to understand what original work is being asserted.

This may include:

  • the title of the work;

  • a link to an authorized version;

  • registration information, if available;

  • a description of the work;

  • or other information reasonably identifying it.

Copyright registration is not required merely to submit a DMCA notice.

5.3 Identification of the Allegedly Infringing Material

Identify the material that you claim is infringing, or is the subject of infringing activity, and provide information reasonably sufficient for ripr to locate it.

Where possible, provide specific information such as:

  • ripr URL;

  • post URL;

  • profile URL;

  • livestream URL;

  • username;

  • token name;

  • token symbol;

  • token address;

  • image;

  • screenshot;

  • timestamp within a livestream or video;

  • or another precise identifier.

General requests such as "remove everything that infringes my work" may not provide enough information for us to locate the material.

5.4 Contact Information

Provide information reasonably sufficient for us to contact you, such as:

  • full name;

  • mailing address;

  • telephone number;

  • and email address.

If you act on behalf of a copyright owner, please identify the owner you represent.

5.5 Good-Faith Statement

Your notice must include a statement substantially similar to:

"I have a good-faith belief that the use of the material in the manner complained of is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law."

5.6 Accuracy and Authority Statement

Your notice must also include a statement substantially similar to:

"The information in this notification is accurate, and under penalty of perjury, I am the copyright owner or am authorized to act on behalf of the owner of an exclusive right that is allegedly infringed."

6. Recommended DMCA Notice Format

A notice may use the following format:

Copyright Owner:
[Name of copyright owner]

Authorized Representative, if applicable:
[Name and relationship to copyright owner]

Contact Information:
[Mailing address]
[Telephone number]
[Email address]

Copyrighted Work:
[Description and/or URL]

Material Complained Of:
[Exact ripr URL, token address, account, stream, post, image, or other location information]

Good-Faith Statement:
"I have a good-faith belief that the use of the material in the manner complained of is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law."

Accuracy and Authority Statement:
"The information in this notification is accurate, and under penalty of perjury, I am the copyright owner or am authorized to act on behalf of the owner of an exclusive right that is allegedly infringed."

Physical or Electronic Signature:
[Full legal name]

7. What Happens After We Receive a Notice

When we receive a notice, we may review it to determine whether it substantially satisfies applicable legal requirements.

We may:

  • request missing information;

  • request clarification;

  • determine that the material cannot reasonably be located;

  • determine that the complaint relates to a matter other than copyright;

  • remove the material;

  • disable access to the material;

  • terminate an active livestream;

  • remove the material from ripr-controlled discovery or display systems;

  • notify the affected user;

  • or determine that no action is currently appropriate.

When we receive a sufficiently compliant DMCA notification concerning material within our control, we may act expeditiously to remove or disable access to the identified material.

Where applicable, we will notify the user who provided the affected material.

8. No Automatic Determination of Copyright Ownership

ripr is not a court and does not issue binding determinations of copyright ownership or infringement.

Our role in the DMCA process is generally to administer notices, takedowns, counter-notifications, and related platform actions as required or appropriate.

A takedown does not necessarily mean that ripr has concluded that:

  • infringement legally occurred;

  • the claimant owns all asserted rights;

  • the user acted unlawfully;

  • or no copyright defense or exception applies.

Similarly, refusing or delaying a takedown does not constitute a legal determination that the challenged material is lawful.

Disputed copyright claims may ultimately need to be resolved between the parties or through a court or other competent authority.

9. Counter-Notifications

If material that you posted or provided through ripr was removed or disabled in response to a DMCA notice, and you believe the material was removed because of a mistake or misidentification, you may submit a written DMCA counter-notification.

A valid counter-notification must contain substantially the information described below.

10. Required Information for a Counter-Notification

10.1 Signature

Provide your physical or electronic signature.

10.2 Identification of Removed Material

Identify the material that was removed or to which access was disabled.

Also identify the location where the material appeared before it was removed or disabled.

This may include:

  • post URL;

  • account;

  • livestream;

  • video;

  • token page;

  • image;

  • or another relevant location.

10.3 Statement Under Penalty of Perjury

Your counter-notification must contain a statement substantially similar to:

"I declare under penalty of perjury that I have a good-faith belief that the material was removed or disabled as a result of mistake or misidentification of the material to be removed or disabled."

10.4 Contact Information

Provide:

  • your full legal name;

  • mailing address;

  • telephone number;

  • and email address.

10.5 Consent to Jurisdiction and Service of Process

Where the counter-notification is made under 17 U.S.C. § 512(g), it must also contain the jurisdiction and service statement required by the DMCA.

If your address is located within the United States, the statement should confirm that you consent to the jurisdiction of the United States Federal District Court for the judicial district in which your address is located.

If your address is outside the United States, the statement should confirm that you consent to the jurisdiction of a United States Federal District Court in any judicial district in which the service provider may be found.

In either case, you must also agree to accept service of process from:

  • the person who submitted the original infringement notification; or

  • that person's authorized agent.

11. Recommended Counter-Notification Format

A counter-notification may use the following format:

Your Full Legal Name:
[Name]

Contact Information:
[Mailing address]
[Telephone number]
[Email address]

Removed or Disabled Material:
[Identify the material and where it previously appeared]

Statement Under Penalty of Perjury:
"I declare under penalty of perjury that I have a good-faith belief that the material identified above was removed or disabled as a result of mistake or misidentification of the material to be removed or disabled."

Jurisdiction and Service Statement:
"I consent to the jurisdiction of the Federal District Court for the judicial district in which my address is located, or, if my address is outside the United States, for any judicial district in which the service provider may be found, and I will accept service of process from the person who submitted the original notification of claimed infringement or that person's agent."

Physical or Electronic Signature:
[Full legal name]

12. Processing Counter-Notifications

Where we receive a valid DMCA counter-notification, we may forward a copy to the person who submitted the original infringement notice.

Where the DMCA applies, that person may then have an opportunity to notify us that they have filed an action seeking a court order to restrain the user from engaging in infringing activity relating to the material.

Subject to applicable law, if we do not receive appropriate notice that such a court action has been filed, we may restore the removed material or cease disabling access to it no sooner than 10 and no later than 14 business days after receiving the valid counter-notification.

Restoration remains subject to other applicable ripr policies.

For example, content may remain restricted if it independently violates:

  • the Content Moderation Policy;

  • Trademark Guidelines;

  • Terms of Use;

  • Livestream Policy;

  • applicable law;

  • or another valid platform restriction.

13. Information May Be Shared Between the Parties

The DMCA notice-and-counter-notice process requires information to be exchanged between the copyright claimant and the affected user.

Accordingly:

  • we may provide a copy of a copyright notice to the user whose content is affected; and

  • we may provide a copy of a counter-notification to the original claimant.

This may include contact information contained in the notice or counter-notification.

Do not submit information that is unnecessary to the legal process.

Personal Data associated with the process is otherwise handled in accordance with the ripr Privacy Policy and applicable law.

14. Repeat Infringers

In appropriate circumstances, ripr may terminate or restrict users who are repeat copyright infringers.

We do not necessarily apply a fixed numerical "three-strike" rule.

In determining whether further action is appropriate, we may consider factors including:

  • the number of valid copyright complaints;

  • whether multiple complaints concern separate works or incidents;

  • seriousness of the conduct;

  • evidence of intentional infringement;

  • whether the user has previously received warnings;

  • successful counter-notifications;

  • withdrawn claims;

  • evidence that complaints were invalid;

  • attempts to evade enforcement;

  • and other relevant circumstances.

Enforcement may include:

  • content removal;

  • loss of content-upload privileges;

  • livestream restrictions;

  • account suspension;

  • or permanent termination.

A sufficiently serious incident may justify action even without prior copyright complaints.

15. Misrepresentations and Abuse of the DMCA Process

Copyright notices and counter-notifications are legal submissions.

Do not knowingly make material misrepresentations concerning:

  • ownership;

  • authorization;

  • infringement;

  • misidentification;

  • or other material facts.

Under applicable law, including 17 U.S.C. § 512(f), persons who knowingly materially misrepresent that material is infringing, or that material was removed or disabled by mistake or misidentification, may be liable for resulting damages, costs, and attorneys' fees.

We may also restrict users who intentionally abuse our copyright-reporting mechanisms.

16. Other Copyright Complaints

Some copyright complaints may fall outside the formal U.S. DMCA process.

We may review copyright complaints under:

  • applicable laws of other jurisdictions;

  • our Terms of Use;

  • our Content Moderation Policy;

  • contractual obligations;

  • or other appropriate procedures.

Submission of a DMCA-style notice does not guarantee that U.S. law applies to a particular dispute.

17. Copyright Contact / DMCA Agent

Copyright infringement notices and counter-notifications should be directed to:

Ravant Technologies FZCO
Product: ripr
Website: ripr.trade
Registered Office: DSO-IFZA, IFZA Properties, Dubai Silicon Oasis, Dubai, United Arab Emirates
Email: support@ripr.trade

DMCA Designated Agent:
[INSERT REGISTERED DMCA AGENT NAME]

Agent Address:
[INSERT REGISTERED DMCA AGENT ADDRESS]

Agent Telephone Number:
[INSERT REGISTERED DMCA AGENT TELEPHONE NUMBER]

Agent Email:
[INSERT REGISTERED DMCA AGENT EMAIL]

Notices intended to invoke the U.S. DMCA should be submitted to the registered designated agent using the contact information above once designated.

18. Designated Agent Registration

Where Ravant Technologies FZCO seeks protection under applicable U.S. DMCA service-provider safe-harbor provisions requiring designation of an agent, the Company will maintain appropriate designated-agent information with the United States Copyright Office and publicly display the corresponding contact information.

The public website information should match the current information maintained with the Copyright Office.

19. Trademark Complaints Are Separate

The DMCA primarily concerns copyright.

Complaints alleging:

  • trademark infringement;

  • false affiliation;

  • misuse of a company name;

  • misuse of a trademarked logo;

  • deceptive token branding;

  • or brand impersonation

should generally be submitted under our Trademark Guidelines.

Some conduct may implicate both copyright and trademark rights and may be handled under multiple policies.

20. Livestream Copyright Issues

Copyright rules apply to livestreaming.

Streamers are responsible for ensuring they have appropriate rights to broadcast material including:

  • music;

  • movies;

  • television;

  • sporting events;

  • videos;

  • photographs;

  • artwork;

  • third-party streams;

  • and other copyrighted works.

When we receive a sufficiently valid notice involving an active stream, we may:

  • interrupt the stream;

  • mute content;

  • disable access;

  • terminate the stream;

  • restrict a replay;

  • or take other appropriate action.

Because livestream content may be ephemeral, the content may no longer be available by the time a complaint is processed.

We do not guarantee that all livestreams are recorded or retained.

21. Music in Livestreams

A personal subscription to a music-streaming service does not necessarily grant the right to publicly rebroadcast music through ripr.

Streamers are responsible for obtaining licenses or permissions required for music they transmit.

We may remove, mute, restrict, or disable access to music-containing content in response to valid copyright complaints or licensing requirements.

22. Token Artwork and Metadata

Token creators and other users are responsible for ensuring they have sufficient rights to artwork, images, videos, descriptions, and other copyrighted material they associate with a Digital Asset.

A token creator must not assume that content is free to use merely because:

  • it is available online;

  • it appears on social media;

  • another token uses it;

  • it depicts a public figure;

  • it was generated or edited by a third party;

  • or it has been placed on a blockchain.

Where infringing token artwork is displayed through ripr, we may remove or alter the ripr-hosted presentation even if the underlying blockchain record cannot be changed.

23. No Obligation to Monitor All Content

Unless required by applicable law, ripr does not undertake an obligation to proactively review every item of User Content for copyright infringement.

Copyright owners remain responsible for identifying specific material they believe infringes their rights and providing information reasonably sufficient for us to locate it.

The presence of content on ripr does not mean that ripr has:

  • verified its copyright status;

  • obtained a license;

  • endorsed it;

  • or determined that it is lawful.

24. Restoration Does Not Override Other Rules

Content restored following a successful DMCA counter-notification remains subject to all other ripr policies.

We may separately remove or restrict material that violates rules concerning:

  • scams;

  • impersonation;

  • fraud;

  • harassment;

  • child safety;

  • unlawful content;

  • privacy;

  • trademark infringement;

  • malicious links;

  • or other prohibited conduct.

A successful counter-notification addresses the copyright takedown process only.

25. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Policy to reflect:

  • changes to the Services;

  • amendments to copyright law;

  • changes to DMCA procedures;

  • changes in our designated-agent information;

  • new content formats;

  • changes to our reporting processes;

  • or other legal or operational developments.

When this Policy changes, the Last Updated date will be revised.

Material changes may also be communicated through the Services where appropriate.

26. Relationship With Other Policies

This DMCA & Copyright Policy should be read together with the:

  • Terms of Use;

  • Privacy Policy;

  • Content Moderation Policy;

  • Livestream Policy;

  • Trademark Guidelines;

  • Non-Custodial Disclosure;

  • and other applicable ripr policies.

Where the same conduct falls under multiple policies, ripr may take action under one or more of them.
