Opposition EC March: Gandhis Squat At Akashvani Bhavan As Youth Congress Protests

Delhi Police have arrested a 24-year-old man, identified as Nadeem, for allegedly creating and circulating an AI-generated fake poster depicting a police officer sexually assaulting a woman. According to the police, the accused claimed to be an independent journalist and operated an Instagram account with over 24,000 followers and around 1,200 posts. Additional Deputy Commissioner of Police Manjeet stated that Nadeem studied in a Saket madrassa and had failed class 10.

The accused allegedly generated and circulated fake images and videos showing police personnel mishandling and sexually assaulting protesters during demonstrations in the national capital. Police stated that the primary objective was to tarnish the image of the Delhi Police, incite protesters, create unrest, and provoke a riot-like situation. A city court granted police custody of the accused as investigators probe whether others were involved in a larger conspiracy to build an anti-police narrative through manipulated content.
