Delhi Police have initiated action following high-voltage clashes during Opposition protests near Jantar Mantar in the national capital, examining video footage and registering multiple first information reports for assault and obstruction of police personnel. Protesters, including Congress workers, clashed with law enforcement during unauthorised demonstrations held amid restrictions under Section 163 of Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita.

Authorities received complaints from several personnel, including female officers who reported physical manhandling and assault. Multiple cases have been registered detailing incidents of scuffles, damage to police vehicles, and attacks on officers on duty. This follows previous police action concerning unauthorised entry into Akashvani Bhawan during earlier demonstrations in New Delhi.
