Delhi Police Arrest Man For AI-Generated Fake Posters Defaming Cops During Protests

High drama unfolded in Central Delhi as opposition leaders staged widespread demonstrations directed at the Election Commission of India. Congress leader Rahul Gandhi, accompanied by Priyanka Gandhi Vadra, Deepender Hooda, and Charanjit Singh Channi, entered the Akashvani Bhavan premises and staged a sit-in protest under a tree near gate number four. The leaders demanded that the gates be opened to allow them to march towards the adjacent Election Commission headquarters.

Security personnel and Delhi Police barricaded the routes and urged the protesting MPs to vacate the government building. Meanwhile, Samajwadi Party chief Akhilesh Yadav and Trinamool Congress MP Derek O'Brien were detained by police during the agitation. The united opposition has mounted a multi-pronged protest demanding the resignation of the Chief Election Commissioner and raising concerns over the disenfranchisement of voters and the functioning of the poll body.

The ruling Bharatiya Janata Party dismissed the agitation as an excuse for repeated electoral setbacks.
