Kalbajar honors memory of martyrs on Remembrance Day

The memory of the martyrs who sacrificed their lives for the
territorial integrity of Azerbaijan was honored with a one-minute
silence in Kalbajar city on September 27 - Remembrance Day.

At 12:00, a one-minute silence was observed in Kalbajar in
memory of the martyrs.

Remembrance Day is observed in Azerbaijan on September 27 to
honor the memory of servicemen who lost their lives during the
44-day Patriotic War of 2020. The date marks the beginning of the
war, which ended after 44 days with a trilateral statement signed
on November 10, 2020.

On Remembrance Day, a nationwide one-minute silence is observed
at 12:00, with traffic and pedestrian movement temporarily halted
in different parts of the country. The day is also marked by
commemorative ceremonies and visits to the graves and memorials of
those who lost their lives during the war.
